3Fall Dance Company is made up of 16 dynamic final year dancers from the University of Chichester, all studying a BA (hons) Dance Degree.

​

All dancers derive from a different training background, some in education whilst others trained in their spare time joining CAT schemes or local dance classes. 

​

A team of five administrators and a collection of technicians work and travel alongside the dancers to produce our 2018 Spring Tour, which includes a varied programme of exciting new works - showcasing the versatility of this years cast.

Rachel Wheatley

Dancers

Before starting at the University of Chichester, Rachel attended the CAT Scheme at Trinity Laban Conservatoire for four years as well as various other styles. After graduating she would love the opportunity to perform as part of a professional dance company. Additionally she is eager to contribute to the development of the dance education sector.

Frida Amponsah

Frida started taking contemporary dance classes in Secondary school and college and immediately found a desire to continue exploring this style. She uses dance to develop her own individual, artistic style and create a greater understanding of herself.

Maya Bodiley

Brandon Clarke

Brandon started training in contemporary and urban at The Point, Eastleigh. Further training took place when he joined the CAT Scheme at The Place, LCDS. He was part of Hampshire Youth Dance Company alongside his CAT Scheme where he gained further contemporary dance training. 

Megan Clout

Megan began training in freestyle, competing all over the UK. She started training in contemporary dance at Shoreham Academy where she grew a keen interest for the style and joined Brighton and Hove Youth Dance Company for further training. Megan hopes to have a career as a dance teacher as she has a great passion for sharing knowledge and expanding the dance community. 

Jean-Luc Coleman

Jean-Luc started training in both contemporary and street dance at the age of 15. He found a love in choreographing works when he started on his own when he began his own creations whilst studying at Chichester College. Hip-hop and urban styles became a high interest through self teaching. He aspires to become a choreographer for music videos and live tours.

Elicia Davies 

Elicia began training in freestyle at a young age right up until she was 18. She began training in contemporary dance throughout education and at 17 joined a company that performed on the West End and Disneyland. Elicia hopes to continue her performance in contemporary dance and eventually teach children with both physical and mental disabilities. 

Lara Gardiner 

Lara's passion for dance started at Redhurst School of Dance where she trained in various styles. Her training in contemporary dance primarily took place through education. Fortunately, Lara's interest in dance is constantly expanding, she hopes to pass her knowledge and commitment on to the younger generation. 

Sophie Grimshaw

Sophie has a background in traditional forms and street dance, which she competed in for several years. Contemporary training began in education which then led her to being a part of the Step Into Dance programme with The Royal Academy of Dance. Her passion lies in both performing and choreographing her own work which she wishes to explore further after graduating.

Francesca Harris

Francesca started training in ballet aged 12 and began contemporary dance training at GCSE level. She went on to take a diploma in Dance at West Kent. She has an interest in the industry and has partaken in many other institutes such as LCDS and NSCD. Her main interests lie in both performance and choreography.

Natalia Judge 

Natalia began training in contemporary dance at Brookhill park performing arts college. She got involved with the schools residency company: Instep Dance. As well as training as a performer with MayaKaras, she also was a part of the teaching team passing on all knowledge she had learnt to the younger members. Natalia's future career with hopefully exploring both teaching and performing.

Charlie King

Charlie started training in dance at the later age of 15. As soon as began he unexpectedly fell in love with the original movement creation of contemporary dance. Charlie started and co-ran an all boys dance company as well as joining L and S Youth Dance Company. He wishes to pursue choreography as a means to communicate anything he wants to explore.

Mary-Beth Robinson

At the age of 11 Mary-Beth was introduced to contemporary dance. At this age her main access to contemporary dance was in education. At the slightly older age of 17 she joined Kaleidescope Youth Dance Company. She has worked with choreographers: Tamar Daly and Joss Arnott. Mary-Beth hopes to have more training in contemporary dance through a Masters and wishes to pursue performing.

Isobel Scott

Isobel's love for contemporary dance grew when she joined Hampshire Youth Dance Company where she was given many amazing opportunities; one being performing a certain raiser alongside Matthew Bourne's Company. Isobel studied in Lisbon, Portugal for a semester and says it helped her to develop her adaptability which she hopes with expand her performance opportunities.

Sasha Vallis

Sasha began training in various styles from a young age. She first started studying contemporary dance at the age of 15 and continued it at Collyers College. She wishes to complete a Master degree in Dance Performance and Choreography to further develop her understanding and knowledge of the style.

Grace Willey

Grace started training in dance from a young age which gave her a desire to continue into higher education. Through this, Grace was introduced to Instep Dance Company. Being a part of Instep Dance Company resulted in Grace gaining many valuable experiences such as performing with professional company, Lila Dance in their intergenerational project. Grace has interests in teaching and sharing her knowledge and passion with others.

Maya initially began training in contemporary dance at the age of 9 where she joined an improvisation-performance group led by Ros Maynard. Since studying at degree level Maya has particularly enjoyed the somatic practices, she feels her knowledge has excelled through introduction to a variation of approaches in improvisation and choreography. Maya spent her whole second year on exchange in Lisbon, Portugal.
